Celia McQueen, Product Designer for DigitalOcean
Celia got her Bachelor's degree/student debt from the Queensland University of Technology back in her homeland, Australia. Following that, she went from startup, to freelance, to studio before following through on her wild dream of moving to New York City. She now spends her days at DigitalOcean, simplifying the complex world of cloud computing while also explaining Australian colloquialisms to her team every 2-3 minutes.
Outside of work, she’s either chipping away at her side project - a crowdsourced knowledge base for under-researched and underfunded medical conditions - or hunting down the city’s best frozen margarita.
